Personality: The first thing to know about Reimu is that she is a HUGE jerk. HOW MUCH OF ONE? Let me explain. If anything, She's a jerk to everyone without any reason. The end right? Not so much as there is a lot more to the miko then this.

There isn't anything more that Reimu would like then to have a day where nothing would go wrong, have tea and donations coming into the shrine. The problem is that it will never happen anytime soon. When approached with issues and just people coming over to freeload off of her, she will whine and grump about it the entire time. Most people would willingly and loudly call her lazy and a giant grump but that isn't quite the case. If anything there is a care free spirit chained into a a demanding job who wants nothing to do with it. Put into the situation as a young child, she will do anything to try and make things go back to normal, a sense of duty so to speak.

Once the normality that Reimu craves is broken, by something as simple as someone coming over to freeload off of her to a major incident causing trouble to the entire land it brings out a serious focus. One that can blind her to actually following the clues to the person she needs to beat up. Instead she will indiscriminately fight and beat up whoever and whatever gets in her way until she either is pointed in the right direction or runs into the trouble maker herself. Shoot first and ask questions later seems to be her way of thinking for the most part though. It can be a good thing though when she is focused on a task...although it normally would have to involve donations or food or booze to keep that for long. If there was a way to attain the peace without violence, she would take it in a instant.

In the same sense, anything that disrupts the normal flow of her day or the balance of the land can get her upset. Anything that is a threat to her normality can set her off in a instant. It can form in her trying to cope with it as anger, that sheer focus to fix it or even just trying to ignore that it is even happening until someone would bug her enough to go do something about it. Although bribes do tend to overcome this to bring her into focus to fix things. This also brings to light that she isn't one that copes well with change.


That doesn't mean that her only way to make things change is to be violent. Sometimes she actually thinks and uses it to her advantage. From figuring out how to channel 3 different gods through her body to use as fuel, as in Silent Sinner in Blue, to even schemes to try and gain more donations for her shrine. This focus tends to come from a push in the right direction, a off handed comment about her not being able to to even just a rival shrine gaining followers by preaching in the village. It isn't limited to this, as she is clever enough to use her ability to float and the blessings of her god to float out of reality for a time or make barriers and clones of herself.

There is one fact about Reimu that is fairy interesting as much of a grump she can be about youkai crashing at the shrine. Even if she may fight everyone, friendship is always soon to follow. Reimu believes in treating everyone equally. Respect and Disrespect is always given equally even if it's a god, youkai, human or anything else that might come her way. The only time this may seem different is when she attempts to chase away youkai from her shrine, although this is more for the fact it makes it a lot harder to do her actual job. This may seem optimistic and innocent to a point but Reimu thinks it is something that she can achieve without worry. Ask her about it though and she will wave it off as it is no big deal.

☆INTERSTELLAR

Genre Preferences: Pop, Rock and Metal (If need be I can do others as well o7)
Choice Instrument: Vocalist (Not lead because she's too lazy), Guitar, Drums
Rockstar Persona: If anything- Reimu is more willing to be personable and interested in whatever is going on, even if it's far from what she would perceive as 'normal'. All that talent she wastes upon sitting around doing nothing unless provoked? Focused on Music and on her bandmates and friends. Those close to her would find that instruments and even microphones are tuned even after sound checks have been done unless she's been told not to touch them at all. She's a perfectionist about it and will pout if told no, but respects those wishes.

There will be times that it's too much and she will withdraw away from everything, letting the quiet calm her, often taking a instrument with her to quietly write or sing. It's mostly to recharge and become the happy and energetic when it's needed for public appearances. It's almost a 180 on the selfish, grumpy self she is back home.

Ideal CR: Any really! Family, Conflict and friends. SO MANY FRIENDS. It would be something to bring her away from the grump when that comes abck into play.
